Serre Chevalier has lots of on and off piste tree runs. Picturesque and always a good powder stash weeks after a dump.

Duo Bar in the Old Town of Briancon is one of the best night spots in the Serre Chevalier Valley. Head up there for a night of live music, locals meet tourists, and a flame throwing cocktail man.

Briancon is the great place to go dog sledding with the Huskys. Great family fun.

Have Happy Hour at Cafe Soleil - good tunes, right on the mountain in Serre Chevalier with half priced drinks from 4-6pm. Have fun with the friendly staff and watch the others on the mountain.

La Grave is only 25 minutes from Briancon. There is a lift up but no pistes down. Get a guide and do one of the most awesome glacier powder runs in France.

Either order some cheese from La Petit Chaumiere in Chantermerle and do it at home with the kit provided at the apartment or go out on the town and have Briancon`s favourite winter meal - Raclette, Fondu; Pierrade.

For lots of family fun go and check out the Diables Rouges ice hockey team. They have just won the French league and are the best team in France. Walk from Apartment Briancon - beers and hot dogs are 2€ and kids go free.

Meet Olympic winner of the snowboard boarder X Pierre Vaultier in the Serre Chevalier park - it's his home turf. It is a well maintained park with greens, blues, reds, blacks, rails, quarters, good tunes and you can meet Pierre if you are lucky.

Briancon and the Serre Chevalier Valley is the sunniest ski resort in France with 300 days of sun a year. Pick up a nice tan while you are here.

Amazing Italian Pizza restaurant 12 km from Italy. Expect low prices and fantastic food, and a singing waiter/owner.

Its pretty fun skiing and snowboarding at night. The Night pistes are 350 metres from the apartment and are open in high season. Take some fireworks with you.
